My Artwork

My artist was Constantine Brancusi, a sculptor that is very well known. Born in 1876 living in a poor family he was raised on himself. With one brother that was about his age and also took care of himself growing up. In his hometown Hobita, Gorj he was treated well above his class of peasants because of the artistic skill that he had. His parents Maria and Nicolai Brancusi were two helpful people in Constantine’s life by getting him everything that he needed to survive in school. He was always a shooting star when it came down to art.  He went to three schools for his artwork, the colleges were happy to accept the skill level of Brancusi. He had one child that he didn’t clam up too but it was his well know son. He lived during some historical events during his life time. Like the Battle of Guar that happened not to long after he was born in to the world. Also this is when Al Spalding started his sporting goods shop the eventually became a large company. He had a cigarette addiction during his older years when his stress level got larger. With his more complicated pieces of artwork like The Kiss created during the time modern art. The type of work that Brancusi created was called modernism.  His best artwork in my opinion is The Kiss because it was so different from the others. It was a simple kissing couple but in this time period it would have Benn found vulgar but Brancusi still made the sculpture
